KeyAccess is a utility that is required to run KeyServed software. If you have a problem running any KeyServed application, make sure you are running the latest version of KeyAccess.
- Download the installer for Mac OS X 10.9 or higher
- Click Save File.
- Double click ksp-client-78-latest.pkg to begin the installation.
- In newer versions of macOS, you may see a prompt that the installer cannot be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.
- Navigate to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General.
- Click Open Anyway next to the message about ksp-client-78-latest.pkg.
- Follow the prompts to complete the KeyAccess installation.
- When asked for the KeyServer address, please make sure the address is keyserver.dartmouth.edu.
- You must restart your computer after downloading and configuring KeyAccess.

KeyAccess is a utility that is required to run KeyServed software. KeyAccess includes a control panel with a KeyVerify tool to test checking out a license. Note that MacOS 12.x (Monterey) requires version 7.8 or later. In order to run KeyServed software, you must have a connection to the Dartmouth network.
