Anthony Helm
Client Technology Consultant II
Hello! I'm Anthony Helm, a Client Technology Consultant in ITC, where my passion for technology and education converges. Armed with almost 30 years’ experience in higher ed and a penchant for problem-solving and self-learning, my journey includes a significant stint both in teaching and in integrating and supporting technology in the academic environment.
Having lived and worked in Japan, I bring a global perspective to my role, fostering cultural awareness and enriching my ability to connect across diverse backgrounds. I originally joined Dartmouth College in 2008, supporting the Arts & Humanities divisions, the choice aligning seamlessly with my values and experiences. Since then, I moved over to join the Dartmouth College Library as manager for library technology and media in 2011, and then joined ITC in 2022. The collaborative ethos and forward-thinking atmosphere across campus have been instrumental in my growth within the organization.
What resonates most with me in our team is the shared commitment to excellence and the service-driven mindset that propels our work forward. The diversity of experience within the team fosters creativity and ensures we approach challenges from various angles.
On a personal note, I'm deeply involved in the arts scene in the Upper Valley, with a focus on community theater and a cappella music. Additionally, I find joy in cooking and baking, transforming ingredients into delightful treats and satisfying meals.
In essence, my role as a Client Technology Consultant is a synthesis of my educational background, professional history in teaching with technology, and a rich tapestry of experiences from living abroad. I am genuinely excited to contribute my unique blend of skills to Dartmouth’s ITC, making a positive impact, solving problems, and fostering innovation in the ever-evolving realm of technology. I look forward to embracing new challenges and continuing to be an integral part of this dynamic team.
