SSH Secure Shell

Details

SSH Secure Shell is a utility for Windows computers that allows secure FTP (SFTP) connections and SSH terminal connections to other computers and central servers.

There are a few common problems or known bugs:

  1. If you created a bookmark with X tunneling and it is not working, there is a bug in the GUI that sets up x11 tunneling. Make sure the checkbox for X tunneling is checked. For more details, see Enable X Tunneling Using SSH Secure Shell.
  2. If you continue to be prompted for your password when you use a bookmark you created, first, make sure the bookmark you saved has your username spelled correctly and saved. If it does, try logging in to another remote computer to make sure your password is correct.
