Installing FileMaker from the Dartmouth Software Center

Current FileMaker versions can be installed through the Dartmouth Software Center. Once you have received confirmation from ITC staff that the software has been made available to you, you can install the application on your DAP-enrolled Windows or Mac computer. Installing FileMaker Pro on Mac Computers

  1. Open the Applications folder in the Finder and select Dartmouth Software Center from the list.
  2. In the bottom left corner of the window, click login and enter your Dartmouth credentials (netID/PW)
  3. Once signed in, search for FileMaker and install the current FileMaker Pro version.
  4. The installation should finish within a few minutes. FileMaker Pro will then will be available in your Applications folder.

Installing FileMaker Pro on Windows Computers

  1. Click the magnifying glass icon in the task bar and type "Software Center." Hit Enter or click on the Software Center button.
    If you are off-campus, you must connect to the VPN (Global Protect) prior to installation.
  2. In the Software Center window that opens, select the current FileMaker Pro version installer and click Install in the next window.
  3. The installation should finish within a few minutes. FileMaker Pro will then be available in the Start menu:
