Departmental email outbox folder stuck generating 0x8004010F error when sending.

Issue

The outbox folder in a departmental mail account is holding onto mail objects and preventing new mall from going out. If you check on the send status and receive a Error 0x8004010F there is a likelihood the user has a corrupted Outlook profile.

Cause

In this case the issue was caused by a corrupted Outlook profile.

Resolution

When you create a fresh profile and re-add the required accounts, new .OST files will be created fresh and pull down fresh copies of the objects from the cloud or server the client is talking to.
