Gene Inspector for Macintosh

Step-by-Step

  1. Download Gene Inspector for Macintosh.
  2. Double click the downloaded zip file. This should unzip the file to a folder with the same name.
  3. Open the folder Gene Inspector 2.0.
  4. Copy the Gene Inspector application to the Applications folder.
  5. Copy the Gene Inspector 2.0 folder to your Documents folder.
  6. Ensure that KeyAccess is running, and open Gene Inspector from your Applications folder.
  7. If prompted to allow the application to run, select Open or Allow.
  8. You should now be able to use Gene Inspector.

Gene Inspector is a program for DNA and protein analyses.

This application is KeyServed and requires KeyAccess be installed on your computer, as well as a connection to the Dartmouth network each time you run Gene Inspector.
