What is Statuspage

  • Statuspage is a communication tool that helps Information, Technology and Consulting (ITC) inform the Dartmouth community about unplanned incidents and scheduled maintenance.  The page is available to the public, anyone can subscribe.

Why Use/Subscribe to Statuspage

  • Members of the Dartmouth community are encouraged to visit Dartmouth's Statuspage to see real-time updates about service outages, disruptions, and scheduled maintenance.  Visiting Statuspage before you contact Dartmouth's Service Desk will reduce support volume during incidents and downtime.
  • We encourage you to subscribe to Statuspage for receive real-time communications via email or text.  Subscribing is easy, for instructions please visit Statuspage - How to Subscribe.

What Do the Notification Colors Represent

  • The colors of the incident notifications represent the impact type of the incident.
    • Green - None
    • Blue - Maintenance
    • Yellow - Minor
    • Orange - Major
    • Red - Critical

What is a Component

  • Components represent the separate infrastructure or functional parts of ITC's services.
  • Components will have one of the following statuses:

Operational - green ​​​​

Maintenance - blue

Degraded Performance - yellow

Partial Outage - orange

Major Outage - red
