There are several options available to members of the Dartmouth community for creating or hosting a website.
For Departments, Programs, Centers, and Institutes
The Web Services team builds websites for administrative offices, academic departments, centers, institutes, and programs on campus. We’ll work with you to develop a web strategy, build your new site or migrate an existing site, and provide training and ongoing support.
If you're interested in working with the Web Services team to develop a new site, please complete the service request form or email web.support@dartmouth.edu.
For Students (Journeys at Dartmouth)
There is a WordPress option available for students on the Dartmouth Journeys platform.
Anyone with a valid NetID
There are two self-serve options; a WordPress option, or a Dartmouth hosting option.
Research websites
Research Computing provides a service that allows researchers to host a website from their DartFS storage.
Collecting Confidential Data
If your department needs to collect or display confidential data via your website or through any application system, please submit a ticket with the Service Desk and your request will be routed to the appropriate ITC group to assist you.
