Accessing Adobe Express

Overview

Adobe Express is a cloud-based content creation tool. It is a design platform where users can create videos, PDF documents, web pages, graphics and other digital assets. It is aimed at mainstream users, not professional graphic designers. It's designed to have a lower barrier of entry than other Adobe applications. 

You can create:

  • Social media images and videos
  • Poster and flyers
  • Presentations

  • Professionally-designed templates and design recommendations
  • One-click tasks, resize images, edit PDFs, and more.  

Access to all premium features including royalty-free Adobe stock photos, fonts, icons, backgrounds and visual elements, are offered through Dartmouth's licensing for faculty and staff, and for undergraduate and Guarini graduate students as part of their Creative Cloud license.

Faculty/Staff Access

Before using the full features of Adobe Express, faculty and staff without a full Creative Cloud license will need to request a license for Adobe Express, via the Request Acrobat or Express page. For faculty and staff who are already licensing the full Creative Cloud package, Adobe Express is included with their license.

Student Access

As noted above, undergraduate and Guarini graduate students have access to Adobe Express as part of their Creative Cloud license.

Accessing Express via Mac or Windows

Adobe Express is available on PC or Mac using the browser of your choice.

  1. Log in to Adobe Express using your computer and favorite browser.
  2. When prompted for your email address, simply enter dartmouth.edu.
  3. You should then be directed through Duo for login, and return back to the Adobe Express interface.

 

Accessing via Mobile Devices

The following images are from an iOS device, but should be similar for Android and similar devices.

  1. Open the App store/Play store on your device.
  2. Search for and install the Adobe Express apps.
  3. Open the Adobe Express app.Adobe Express app screen in the Apple App Store
  4. Select an option for notifications if prompted.
