Process for requesting Omeka-D

Omeka-D is a flexible, and open source web-publishing platform for the display of library, museum, archives, and scholarly collections and exhibitions.

Here are some examples of Omeka at Dartmouth:

Dartmouth Digital History Initiative

Dartmouth Vietnam Project

Omeka-D combines a basic Omeka-S offering with a curated list of available plugins, the ability to make documents accessible to Dartmouth’s High Performance Computing infrastructure, and a growing list of custom plugins to address research challenges that lack ready solutions in the existing Omeka-S ecosystem (e.g. the ability to parse Text Encoding Initiative (TEI) XML files).
