Overview
Single projector or flat panel display room with an audiovisual system that supports the use of a classroom computer or laptop through wired connection for presentation. A lapel microphone is available for local speech reinforcement. These rooms are equipped with either an external USB web cam with built-in microphone or iMac with built-in microphone that will capture audio and video when joining to a Zoom meeting.

Present
Present your digital content from a computer through the projector or flat panel display and speakers.
- Classroom Computer
Use the classroom computer for slide shows or other media presentation.
- HDMI
Directly connect your laptop or other device to the audiovisual system.
- Solstice Wireless Display
Connect wirelessly using the Solstice wireless gateway
- Wearable Microphone
A wearable microphone is available to use for local speech reinforcement.
Zoom
External USB web cam connected to classroom computer or iMac with built-in web cam enables remote guests to see and hear activities in the classroom.
- Join a Meeting
Set up a Zoom meeting ahead of class and join from the room by entering in the Meeting ID and Password
- Zoom Share
Use the Zoom "Share" button in the Zoom desktop client to wirelessly present your content in-room and to any remote participants in the Zoom meeting
Getting Started
Local Presentation
- Plug your laptop or mobile device into the HDMI cable (or use the classroom computer). Adapter may be required.
- Using the touch panel or push button controls, select the content you would like to display on the projector (classroom computer, Wireless Display, or Laptop).
- The classroom computer may be listed as
- Lectern PC
- Class Mac
- Mac or iMac
- If laptop is not listed, choose HDMI
- Adjust the volume through the fader on the bottom of the touch panel as needed.
When you are finished, please tap the power button to turn off the projector.
Using the Microphone with Zoom
- Remove the microphone from the drawer and turn on. (How to use microphone)
- Plug the USB cable into the classroom computer or your laptop
- Change the microphone settings in Zoom to "USB Codec"
