Software Center – Operating Systems (SCCM)

Software Center Operating Systems tab is the third tab in Software Center. The Operating Systems tab is where Operating Systems upgrades can be performed. Also known as “in-place” upgrades. Items listed in the Operating Systems tab are also referred to as “task sequences”.

Other task sequences can be deployed in the Operating Systems tab, that perform a series of steps to install applications and apply configurations. These typically will reboot during the process, so closing all applications and saving work is highly recommended before you start one of these processes.
