Zoom Skills for Remote Class Meetings

Prerequisite:

  • Get (or verify) a Zoom account by visiting Get (or verify) a Zoom account by visiting https://dartmouth.zoom.us/ 
  • Clicking on "sign in." 
  • If you don't have an account, you'll be guided through the sign up process.
  • If you already have an account, the Zoom web client will load.

During the session you will learn about:

  • Setting up class meetings in Zoom (with or without recordings).
  • Posting a meeting link in each course Canvas page.
  • Simple steps for verifying technical readiness before each meeting
  •  Using Zoom's participant list and chat to facilitate discussion.
  • Sharing content.
  • Accessing Zoom recordings to share in Canvas
