Enroll Your Windows Computer Into DAP

Windows Install Instructions

Important Note: All Windows based computers are enrolled into SCCM via membership to the Kiewit Active Directory.   If you currently log into your computer using your NetID then your computer is joined to the Kiewit Active Directory and no futher set up is required.

Step-by-Step

System Center Configuration Manager or SCCM is a comprehensive support solution for computer systems utilizing Microsoft Windows operating systems. With SCCM, ITC staff can proactively manage the entire lifecycle of all Windows-powered devices that meet the criteria specified above. This includes deploying and maintaining systems and software, responding to security threats, distributing settings, and analyzing inventory data. The following steps will guide you through the installation of the agent onto your computer.

1. Click the link below to download the installation file to your computer

2. Double click the installation file named sccmclient.msi.

3. If a Windows Defender windows pops up letting you know that this is an unknown file, click More Info then Run Anyway.

4. Wait until installation complete and restart your computer.

5. Delete the installation file from your computer and you're done.
