How to Forget Dartmouth Public and other WiFi Networks

Do NOT use this process to forget eduroam in an attempt to troubleshoot connectivity issues.  Forgetting eduroam will break the profile that is installed by SecureW2 JoinNow.  If you suspect an issue with the installed profile or remembered Wi-Fi network settings for eduroam, simply re-run the JoinNow software on the device.

Mac OS X

1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar at the top of the screen

2. Click "Open Network Preferences..." at the bottom of the menu that appears
   
    
3. Select "Wi-Fi" from the list on the left
4. Click the "Advanced..." button in the lower right corner of the window
   
    
5. Click the "Wi-Fi" button in the tab strip at the top of the window
6. Find and click on Dartmouth Public (or the Wi-Fi network you wish to have your device forget) in the list
7. Click the Minus [-] button below the list
8. Click the OK button
   
    
9. Click the "Apply" button in the lower right corner of the window

Repeat for any other Wi-Fi networks you wish to forget.

Windows 10

1. Click the Wi-Fi icon in the system tray in the lower right hand corner of the screen

2. Click the "Network & Internet settings" link
   
    
3. Click "Wi-Fi" from the list on the left
4. Click the "Manage known networks" link
   
    
5. Find and click on Dartmouth Public (or the Wi-Fi network you wish to have your device forget) in the list on the right side of the screen
   
    
6. Click the "Forget" button
   

Repeat for any other Wi-Fi networks you wish to forget.

iOS (iPhone, iPad)

1. Open the Settings app

2. Select Wi-Fi
3. Find Dartmouth Public (or the Wi-Fi network you wish to have your device forget) in the list on the right side of the screen and touch the blue button
   
   
    
4. Tap the "Forget This Network" button
   
   
    
5. When prompted, tap "Forget"
   
   

Repeat for any other Wi-Fi networks you wish to forget.

Android

1. Open the Settings app

2. Select "Wi-Fi & Internet" from the list
   
    
3. Select "Wi-Fi"
   
    
4. Find Dartmouth Public (or the Wi-Fi network you wish to have your device forget) in the list and touch and hold your finger down until a menu appears
5. Touch "Forget network" from the menu
   

Repeat for any other Wi-Fi networks you wish to forget.
