Using Duo provides a two-factor authentication method when signing into:
- VPN client
- Most systems that require passing through the Dartmouth Web Authentication (SSO)
- Using Remote Desktop Protocol to secured servers
This provides a higher level of security for the data you are accessing.
The following systems are accessed through Dartmouth Web Authentication (SSO) but do not require Alums to authenticate with Duo
