The Office of Communications maintains the Dartmouth YouTube channel.
Videos for departments or programs can be hosted here, and this also allows the department or program the ability to embed or link the videos wherever the department chooses, while avoiding the overhead of managing a separate YouTube page.
For an organization producing only a small number of videos each year, the Office of Communications can post the videos. If video becomes a more regular part of the department or program's communications (multiple videos each month, consistently), a standalone channel—linked to the main Dartmouth YouTube—would be appropriate. The Office of Communications would help set that up with the organization having the management responsibilities and the Office of Communications keeping an admin seat to ensure access continuity down the line, including for future versions of OOC staff who may need to step back into the account.
