To get started, you will need a flashdrive. There is no special formatting for the drive.
Download the file structure from BRAVIA Signage Free Simple Media Player 2 - 4K Professional Displays - Sony Pro
Copy the entire downloaded folder over to the Flash Drive that is to be used on the digital signage.
Extract the contents from the file.
Everything can be moved external of the Bravia Signage Folder - the folders “Sony” and “Tools” must be outside of the Bravia signage folder. The Media folder is where all of the photos and videos that are to be displayed should go. A screenshot of what this looks like is below.
In the media folder, remove any pics or files you don’t want to see.
Add to the media folder only the files you want to see.
At the Bravia Display, grab the remote. The key for entering and exiting Pro Mode is [i+] [mute] [volume +] [Home] (shown in order of press below)
Go to the settings menu at the top of the display screen and select “Pro Settings”
Under Pro Settings, find USB Drive AutoRun
Under USB Drive Auto Run, toggle ON for Install BPK and Launch Web App.
Go back to the Pro Settings.
Select “Start Pro Mode”
The device will restart automatically.
Plug the USB in after switching to Pro Mode.
The slide show should start automatically
