Dartmouth Health Campus (ex-DHMC) wired network access for Dartmouth College owned devices

Dartmouth College owned devices (eg. laptops) can access the Dartmouth network using the wired connection (Ethernet) at the Dartmouth Heath campus (ex-DHMC).

  1. Using an Ethernet network cable, plug your device into a BLUE Ethernet wall-port. You may need an adapter if your device does not support an Ethernet connection.
  2. When prompted provide:
    • Account Name: NETID@dartmouth.edu       -- where NETID is your own Dartmouth NetID, "@dartmouth.edu" is mendantory
    • Password: the password associated with your Dartmouth NetID
    • Select "No certificate" if asked -- Mac only.
  3. Click OK

On rare occasions, the authentication might fail. If so, reach out directly to Geisel Computing Support and provide your Ethernet adapter's MAC address to whitelist it.
