Vendors often request this information in order to properly classify traffic coming from the Dartmouth network.
These IP networks include:
- On-Campus users/devices
- Wired connections
- Wi-Fi connections on eduroam, Dartmouth Public, and other centrally-supported networks
- Datacenter servers
- Off-Campus users/devices on full-tunnel client VPN
- Some Off-Campus users/devices on site-to-site VPN connections
- Some connections from DHMC
- Some connections from the Hanover Inn
This does not include cloud-hosted services that Dartmouth directly maintains or subscribes to from other vendors.
