Staying At Dartmouth

Whether you're transitioning to a Graduate Program or will be employed as Dartmouth Faculty or Staff, we're happy to have you with us. Most systems you currently have access to will continue to be available for your use, but your roles in those systems might change. Some changes you should be aware of are:

• Canvas: You will lose access to your current courses, so if there are any assignments you would like to save, please look at how to save your assignments.

• Email: Your email address will change to reflect your primary role, whether it be graduate student First.M.Last.GR@Dartmouth.edu, or employee First.M.Last@Dartmouth.edu. Your Student|Alumni address First.M.Last.Yr@Dartmouth.edu will become a “reserved email alias” for you, so that email sent to your primary or alumni address will still be delivered to your Dartmouth mailbox.
