Geisel's AV equipped rooms are equipped with Auracast™ broadcast audio technology, enhancing the accessibility and clarity of in-room sound for users with compatible hearing devices or personal receivers. Below is a guide to using Auracast in our AV spaces.

Note: Auracast transmitters are being rolled out across Geisel’s AV systems throughout the year. These features are available in rooms with a seating capacity of 12 or more.

System Features & Usage
Auracast Broadcast Audio
Auracast transmits in-room audio directly to supported Bluetooth hearing aids, dedicated room receivers, and personal receivers.

Look for the Auracast signage in the room for the broadcast name and QR code.

Users with compatible devices can join the broadcast using their hearing aid app or third-party Auracast receiver.

 

How to Assist with Auracast Connections
If someone needs assistance:

Offer a compatible loaner Auracast receiver that are dedicated to each space.

Point out the broadcast name and instructions on the room signage.

Direct them to call 603-646-5123 (option "0") for immediate help during operating hours.

 

System Check & Troubleshooting
The AV system will automatically start broadcasting when powered on.

If users report no sound:

Confirm the AV system is active.

Check that the receiver is powered on.

Call support for additional diagnostics at 603-646-5123 (option "0") for immediate help during operating hours.
