This article describes elements of the Project Status Update stage of the Project Governance lifecycle. Project Governance is a key aspect of Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
Project statuses are updated on at least a monthly basis and are included in the public desktop for active ITC projects.
Elements of project status include:
- Status - values describe the state of a project,
- A brief narrative describing recent accomplishments and upcoming activities,
- Health - values are Green, Yellow and Red, and
- Percent Complete - values 0 - 100.
