Kronos is a web-based, electronic, time-keeping system. Designated employees record their hours worked using their Dartmouth ID card and a special time clock. A time card is generated and transmitted electronically to the payroll system. Other employees submit their hours electronically via the Kronos webpage and their timecard.
A new hire who is paid hourly will automatically get a Kronos account. For a new hire who will approve staff timecards as part of a supervisory position, a security access form should be completed requesting a Kronos manager’s license.
System Access Request Form
To record hours worked from a web browser:
- To access Kronos via the web (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge) on a Computer, iPad or Mobile Phone:
- DUO two factor authentication is required to login to Kronos Time-Keeping System.
If you need help logging into this system, Submit a ticket here or call the IT Service Desk at 603-646-2999.
- NOTE: If you see the message "An Incorrect username or password was entered. Please try again", this is likely because the person is no longer set up in Kronos. This happens after 6 weeks of no timecards being submitted OR the job ending at the end of a term. This can be corrected by having your Supervisor rehire you with the PASF Form (http://dartgo.org/pasf).
