Issue
Sometimes when connecting to a server share (such as Our Files) from off campus while using VPN, the user is presented with a pop-up asking for credentials. The user puts in NetID and password and is told wrong user name or password.
Environment
Windows 10
Cause
This occurs when the user has a non-domain joined computer and isn't granted necessary permissions to access the share. (even though on VPN)
Resolution
When the box pops up to ask for credentials, the user should type in Kiewit\NetID as the user name.
