Microsoft Visio and Project Installers

Step-by-Step

Microsoft's Visio and Project applications are available to members of the Dartmouth community on a subscription basis.
purchase the subscription license  
Contact The Computer Store on the lower level of McNutt Hall if you have any questions.
 

Once that order is processed, install the software on your computer by following the steps below:

1. Log into o365.dartmouth.edu with your NetID and password.
2. Click on your profile icon on the top right of the page, then choose View Account.
3. Choose Office apps 
4. Apps & devices 
   Select the install option for Visio or Project, whichever application you purchased a license for.  If you don't have a license, these options will NOT appear in the list.
   note- the default is 64-bit and used by most, but if you need the 32-bit change the Version option.
5.  OfficeSetup.exe will appear in your downloads in the browser, select it to begin the installation.
   If prompted 'The app you're trying to install isn't a Microsoft-verified app' select install anyway. Select yes to continue the installation if prompted.

or

1. From Applications, open Dartmouth Software Center.
2. Click on Visio or Microsoft Project to Install.
   Vision and Microsoft Project are available only if your account has been licensed.  If you do not see the installer, contact the Service Desk.

If you are running Windows Parallels on a Mac, you must run the installation from Windows.
