Shorten URLs

Step-by-Step

If you have a long URL that you want to create a short cut to follow the steps below:

1. Go to dartgo.org/admin.
2. If prompted, sign in with your Dartmouth NetID and password.
3. In the Add New DartGo Redirect section, in the Link name field, enter the name you want to appear after dartgo.org in your new, shortened URL
4. In the Redirect Link field, enter the full URL that the new dartgo link should redirect users to. (e.g. http://home.dartmouth.edu/division/department/page.html)
5. Click Add Redirect.

You can now give people the URL dartgo.org/<link name>. When they enter that URL, they will automatically be redirected to the URL you entered int he Redirect Link field.
