Duo Mobile App Update Required by 3/31/26

Overview

To comply with Duo Security vendor requirements, all users must update the Duo Mobile app to version 4.106 or later by March 31, 2026. After this date, Duo Push notifications will not be delivered to devices running older versions of the Duo Mobile app.

Who

This change affects all users who use Duo Mobile for multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access any application or system.

What

  • Duo Security requires the Duo Mobile app to be version 4.106 or higher.

  • Systems using Duo Verified Push will fail if the app is not upgraded.

When

This change will take effect on March 31, 2026.

Action Required

Check your Duo Mobile app version.

  • Open the Duo Mobile app.
  • Ensure the version is 4.106 or later.
  • On supported devices, DUO Mobile typically updates automatically.

Update the app if needed

Minimum Supported Versions* 

  • iOS: iOS 16 or later.
  • Android: Android 11 or later.
    *Devices running older OS versions cannot install the required Duo Mobile update.
