Unity Client installation
The Unity Client is the normal OnBase interface that you regularly use. The uptodate installers are located at: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gWFsZRGwPxiRFdNIBIHP0HgZ48JKRojw You can also use the installer located in the Dartmouth Software Center but you may need to manually add the user profile step addressed below.
When you run the installer, these are the options you steps you need to take:
- Copy the “Unity Client Installer” directory to the local machine
- Run the MicrosoftEdgeWebView2RuntimeInstallerX64.exe as an Administrator
- Click Next/Finish until the installation is complete
- Run the setup.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR
- Destination Folder (accept default)
- Install Hyland Unity Client to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Hyland\Unity Client\

Virtual Print Driver installation
The Virtual Print Driver is what allows you to select the Hyland Virtual Printer as a printer and print a document into OnBase. These are the steps you will need to follow to install it.
- Copy the “Virtual Print Driver Installer” directory to the local machine
- Run the setup.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR
OnBase Business Application installation
The OnBase Business Application is the interface between OnBase and the Microsoft Office applications, such as Word and Excel, that you have on your computer. If it has been installed before, no changes are necessary as part of this upgrade. These are the steps you will need to follow to install it:
- Copy the “OBA for Office Installer” directory to the local machine
- Run the setup.exe AS Administrator and click Next/Finish until the installation is complete.
Configuration Directions
Copy the desired Unity Configuration file from "\Configuration Files" in this directory to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Hyland\Unity Client\obunity.exe.config
