ITC provides desk phones to those at Dartmouth who need them. Our phone system also provides for software-based phones - either on your computer or smart phone. You can use both a desk phone and a software-based phone for the same phone number.
If you have been using a software-based phone and now would like a physical desk phone, or if you have a new position for which you need a physical desk phone, please complete the form found online at https://services.dartmouth.edu/TDClient/1806/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=30464. Someone from ITC will deploy a new Poly desk phone for you.
If you already have a physical desk phone, and would like to only use the software-based phones and regain the desk space that a physical desk phone takes up, please complete the form found online at https://services.dartmouth.edu/TDClient/1806/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=30464. Someone from ITC will pick up your desk phone.
