Overview

Single projector room with an audiovisual system that supports the use of a laptop or other device through wired connection for presentation. Two wireless lapel microphones and two wireless handheld microphones are available for local speech reinforcement.

Technology Features

Present

Present your digital content from a computer through the projector and speakers.

  • BYOD
    Bring your own device (laptop, tablet, etc.)
  • HDMI
    Directly connect your laptop or other device to the audiovisual system.
  • Wearable Microphone
    A wearable microphone is available to use for local speech reinforcement.

Start/Join Zoom

Zoom Room features are not available in this Space.

  • Start/Join a Meeting
    Set up a Zoom meeting ahead of your event by using your laptop or personal device connected to the HDMI cable
  • Zoom Share (Wireless Sharing)
    This assumes a Zoom session is active (see above).  To present wirelessly, join that same meeting from your own device.  Select the Share button to display your content in-room and/or to remote participants.

Getting Started

Local Presentation

  1. Plug your laptop or mobile device into the HDMI cable Adapter may be required.
  2. Using the touch panel, select the content you would like to display on the projector (HDMI)
  3. Adjust the volume through the fader on the bottom of the touch panel as needed
  4. When you are finished, please tap the power button to turn off the system

Start/Join Zoom

  1. This assumes personal device is connected to the AV system (see above)
  2. Launch Zoom meeting from your device (laptop, tablet, etc.)
  3. When you are finished, please tap the power button to turn off the system

Local Presentation - Wireless

  1. This assumes a device is connected to the AV system (see above)
  2. This assumes an active Zoom meeting is in session (see above)
  3. From a another person's personal device
    1. Launch Zoom application
    2. Select Share Screen button
    3. Enter the meeting Id (and password when needed)
      1. This can be found by selecting the meeting name, top left corner of the host device.
  4. When you are finished, please tap the power button to turn off the system

In-Room Microphone

  1. Remove the microphone from the base
  2. Press the front round button to mute and unmute the microphone (indicated by a Red/Green light on the top)
  3. Adjust the volume using the touch panel as needed
