The ExEmployee affiliation will be removed on September 16, 2026. Today, when an employee leaves, their account is switched to an ExEmployee affiliation and kept active for 18 months. Under the new model, the account retains the affiliation. A staff member stays Staff, a faculty member stays Faculty, and the account is disabled once it reaches its expiration.

If you have a rule or deprovisioning logic that relies on the ExEmployee affiliation, please update it to rely on the person's account status ahead of the change window.
