Downloading Microsoft Office

Step-by-Step

1. Open a web browser and navigate to o365.dartmouth.edu.
2. If prompted, authenticate with your NetID, password, and Duo.
3. In the Office 365 window on the upper left, click on the checkerboard icon, then click the link for Microsoft 365--->.
4. In the upper right of the Office window (take a few seconds to load) there will be a button to Install Apps. Click on that button and select Office 365 apps.
5. Follow the instructions to download the Microsoft Office suite for your specific device.
6. For iOS Devices (iPad and iPhones) and Android devices, Office apps are downloaded from the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). After it is downloaded, you must sign into the app with your Dartmouth account to activate the license.

Product Terms and Use Rights

Regarding the use of Microsoft Products, as a user please be aware of the terms and conditions upon which you are allowed to use the Products.

1. Your use of the Products is subject to the terms of Dartmouth's agreement with Microsoft, including but not limited to limitations on liability, disclaimer of warranties and exclusion of remedies;
2. You are allowed to run the Products only during the Licensed Period;
3. If the agreement is terminated, or an Enrollment expires and Dartmouth does not purchase perpetual Licenses for the Products ordered under the Enrollment, then all Products run under the agreement or the applicable Enrollment must be deleted when the Licensed Period expires or is otherwise earlier terminated, whichever is first
