Body
JMP Pro is Statistical Analysis software from SAS.
There are two variants of JMP, "JMP" and "JMP Pro". They are identical apart from additional features enabled in the "Pro" license. The Academic License is for JMP Pro. All references to JMP here should be assumed to refer to JMP Pro. Academic licenses are annual, and must be renewed each year.
The current release is 18.2.
Due to changes to how JMP is licensed, starting July 30 2025, Research Computing is no longer able to manage a block of JMP v17 and v18 licenses for the college community.
Going forward, each individual student, faculty, and research staff will need to prove eligibility directly with JMP. Once validated, they will be able to download and install the software.
