Most Faculty and Staff are provisioned in Office 365
Most new students are provisioned in Dartmouth Gmail.
Office 365
Using the Outlook app
- Download and open the Microsoft Outlook application from the App Store
- Open Outlook and tap Add Account. Enter your netID@dartmouth.edu address.
- You will be re-directed to Dartmouth's SSO webpage where you will need to plug in your Dartmouth credentials.
- You will now be able to access your Dartmouth email and calendar in the Microsoft Office application
Using Apple Mail
Dartmouth ITC does not support Apple Mail. Please use the outlook Application or web browser to access mail.

Using the Apple Mail App
- Open the device Settings.
- Select Mail.
- Select Accounts.
- Select Add Account.
- Select Google
- In the Email field, enter your complete email address (e.g., john.a.doe@dartmouth.edu) and tap Next. Do not use a nickname or partial name.
- This will redirect you to the Dartmouth Web Authentication screen. Enter your Dartmouth NetID, Password, and Duo authenticate.
- Choose which settings you prefer to sync to your device - Mail, Contacts, Calendars or Notes by toggling on or off the green button then touch Save
