Software Center Installation Status tab is the fourth tab in Software Center. The Installation Status tab is where the status of installations of Applications, Updates, and Operating Systems. This is for installations performed by SCCM, and not installation performed outside SCCM. It does include installation of applications during machine provisioning.

Requirements
- Devices must be inside the Dartmouth network, connected via ethernet or wireless (Eduroam)
- or outside the Dartmouth network with an active VPN connection
Layout Options
Layout options allows you to change how installation statuses are displayed. This helps in locating installations from a large list.
- All: Shows all installation statuses.
- Upcoming: Displays all installations that will be performed at a future time.
- Filters: This drop-down contains all the installation types you can filter by. This includes Applications, Updates, Operating Systems. Select All to show all types.
- Sort by: Rearrange the list of applications. By default, this list sorts by “Application name: A to Z”. You can also select “Application name: Z to A”, “Oldest”, “Most Recent”, “Publisher name: A to Z”, “Publisher name: Z to A” “Status”
- Search: Enter keywords in the Search box to filter list.
Status States
Each item can have one of the following status states:
- Installing: Software Center is in the process of installing this item.
- Downloading: Software Center is downloading the software to install on this computer.
- Installed: Software Center already installed this application on this computer.
- Note: Updates and Operating Systems will show status of Downloading and Installing. Once finished installing, it will no longer appear in the list as Installed. Only applications show installed.
- Failed: Software Center wasn't able to install the software.
- Scheduled to install after: Shows the date and time of the device's next maintenance window to install upcoming software. Maintenance windows are defined by your IT admin.
- This status can be seen in the All and the Upcoming tab.
- You can install before the maintenance window time by selecting the Install Now button.
