Reset (Unlock) Account

It is not unusual for people at Dartmouth to mis-type their password, or mis-remember the answers to the security questions they set on a shared departmental or organizational account. In these cases the account will be made inaccessible (locked) as it appears to systems that someone other than the valid owner is trying to use the account to access systems. When this happens, the owner of the account needs to request an account reset.

Faculty and staff needing to unlock a shared departmental or organizational account. For individual accounts that are locked, the account owner will need to call 603-646-2999.
