What is iCloud?

iCloud is the cloud storage platform from Apple that can be used with devices such as the MacBook Pro, iMac, and iPhone. iCloud is used to store and sync data including documents, photos, music, contacts, email, and passwords. Apple provides 5GB of storage for free and additional storage can be purchased from Apple. Your iCloud login, also known as your Apple ID, is not connected to Dartmouth or Dartmouth systems.
