When you created the account, you may have created a new email address ending in @outlook.com, or you may have used another existing email address as the username name for the Microsoft account. Your Microsoft account is not affiliated with Dartmouth or Dartmouth's Microsoft services, even if you used your @dartmouth.edu email address as your Microsoft account username.
