We hear you like Google...So do we!

Based on your demand for this service, Information, Technology and Consulting, in partnership with IT from Thayer School of Engineering, Geisel School of Medicine and Tuck School of Business, is offering Google's G Suite for Education to all students, faculty and staff at Dartmouth effective January 16, 2019.  By working with Thayer IT on expanding their already proven implementation of G Suite, we have been able to provide the entire Dartmouth campus with a rich set of productivity tools that have broad recognition, superior ease of use and the flexibility to help you meet your storage and collaboration needs.

The Dartmouth G Suite toolset will be offered alongside Microsoft’s Office 365.

  • Phase I was deployed in January 2019 and includes core collaboration tools such as Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Sites.
  • Phase II will begin in February 2019. It will be a small email pilot that will allow people to opt in to receiving email using the Dartmouth supported G Suite email capability. The level of satisfaction with the pilot will help us determine when and how broadly to offer opt in email as part of the Google deployment.
