Showing a Whiteboard on the Digital Displays in the Room

Instructions for entering "Whiteboard Mode" so a Presenter can write on a designated Whiteboard in larger spaces and display a camera feed of what they're writing on the the Displays in the room so audience members in the rear of the room have equitable viewing of the handwriting on the board.

Our larger rooms feature a ‘Whiteboard Mode’ that routes a live camera view of the designated whiteboard to all room displays, ensuring all audience members can clearly see the handwritten material.

Steps for Presenters

1. Locate the AV Touch Panel

  • On the lectern or wall, find the room’s control touch panel.

2. Select "Whiteboard Mode"

  • From the "Advanced Options" menu, tap Whiteboard Mode.

  • The system will automatically adjust the camera to frame the whiteboard.

3. Begin Writing on the Whiteboard

  • Write naturally on the designated board area.

  • The camera feed will display your writing live on all in-room displays.

4. (Optional) Adjust Camera View

  • If needed, use the on-screen controls to fine-tune the camera angle or zoom.​​​​​​​
  • These controls can be located under "Camera Controls" in the same "Advanced Options" menu. 

5. Exit Whiteboard Mode

  • When finished, tap Whiteboard Mode once again to deselect it (or select another presentation mode).

  • The system will return to its default display settings.

⚠️ Tips for Best Results

  • Use dark, bold markers for maximum visibility.

  • Stay to the side while writing so the camera has a clear shot of the board.

  • Erase old writing before starting to avoid cluttered images.
