Vail 120 (Chilcott) and Remsen 512 Tutorial Video

This article is a tutorial video for users of the technology in the both Vail 120 (Chilcott) and Remsen 512 classroom/meeting space.

Important Information:

• Wireless screen sharing from user devices via Zoom "Screen Share" button in Zoom Application.
• ONLY joins pre-existing meetings.
  • Users must know their meeting ID and Passcode if they want to attend a Zoom Meeting
  • Host/Creator of the meeting must turn on "All Participants Can Share" their screen when the meeting is created. 
    • Presenters will not be able to share content from their device if this is not done in advance.
  • Users cannot start an ad hoc Zoom meeting with the room system
  • Presenters need to use the actual Zoom Application and not the Zoom Web App.
    • The Zoom Web App does not support or have the screen sharing Icon. 
• BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) location for presentations. There is no presentation computer for users.
