Listed below are the standard computer categories recommended by Geisel IT, Dartmouth's Computer Store, and Dartmouth IT&C. While the store is able to order various configurations and custom builds, the models and specifications below should meet the vast majority of user needs.
For users whose computer purchases/replacements are managed centrally via Geisel IT, our support staff will work with you to determine the appropriate computer and peripherals based on your use. For users in TDI's central administration/operations teams, Geisel IT will track and recommend replacements - though all purchases and any unusual upgrades will need to be approved via TDI Operations before purchasing.
