Error when opening workbook "Margins Do Not Fit Page Size"

Cause

Print driver is reading the margins incorrectly in Print Preview. This can be the cause even when you have not tried to print but merely tried to open the Workbook.

Resolution

1. Reboot your computer.
2. If that doesn't resolve the issue change the Page Layout.
   1. Click on the Page Layout tab
   2. Click on the down arrow under Margins and choose Normal
   3. Click on the down arrow under Size and choose 8 1/2 x 11.
   4. Close Excel and open the Workbook.
