PDF's will not open in Our Files - Getting a Security Block Popup

Issue

PDF documents are being blocked from opening on the Our Files Server

Environment

This article applies to adobe Acrobat Reader DC on Windows 10

Cause

This is under Adobe's Trust Manager

Resolution

To either add the site or Allow all PDF's to open:

1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader
2. Click on edit then preferences
3. Scroll down and click on Security (Enhanced)
4. Click on Add Host
5. type in the our files path eg \\of_provost\
6. click okay then okay
7. Close Adobe then open pdf located on the server.
