On April 2, 2026, Zoom will introduce a simplified web experience. This update is designed to create a more consistent, intuitive interface across Zoom while making it easier for users to navigate and discover the tools they use most.
When the update becomes available, users will see a "Try the new experience" toggle in the Zoom web portal. The toggle will be turned on by default, allowing users to explore the new experience while still having the option to switch back temporarily.
What you need to know:
- The toggle between the new and existing experience will be available for 90 days. After this transition period, the new web experience will become the default for all users, and the toggle will be removed.
What's changing:
- A new universal header with a product menu that groups Zoom products together and removes the busy left-side navigation, creating a cleaner and more intuitive way to move between tools.
- An updated web portal design aligned with the Zoom desktop client, creating greater consistency and familiarity across experiences.
- Core Zoom functionality is not changing as part of this update.
