Zoom Workspaces Reservation Guide

Zoom Workspaces is the new place to make reservations for many desks, room, and spaces around campus. Please see the information below on the advantages and procedures on using Zoom Workspaces for your reservations. 

Zoom Workspaces

Below are the features and procedures for using Zoom Workspaces. Using any of these three will sync and reflect accordingly after a short period of time. 

Using the Zoom application

1. Open your Zoom application
   1. See this Zoom - Getting Started article if you need assistance downloading and signing into Zoom
       
2.     Click Workspaces near the top​​​​​​​Please note that it may be found under the ...More button depending on the window viewing size
    
3. Click the Building/Floor drop-down to view another building or floor
   1.

4. You may click the +Reserve button to view desks or spaces available between the times you are looking to reserve
   1. Or you may want a specific room, in which you can choose the option from the map to see it's availability
       
5. After selecting the day and time you would like, click reserve

Using the Web Browser

1. Go to Dartmouth ZOOM (zoom.dartmouth.us
    
2. Click Sign In
    
3. Scroll down in the options on the left to the Workspace Reservation option
   1.     
       
4. Click the Building/Floor dropdown to view another building or floor
   1. 
5. You may click the +Reserve button to view desks or spaces available between the times you are looking to reserve
   1. Or you may want a specific room, in which you can choose the option from the map to see it's availability
       
6. After selecting the day and time you would like, click reserve

Using Outlook

1. Go to Calendar in Outlook
2. Create new event
3. Add Room resource as an invitee​​​​​
4. Add any other invitees to the room
5. Include a Zoom Meeting if necessary
6. Send invite
   1. Zoom will see the meeting in the calendar and add it to the Zoom system to avoid calendar conflicts. 

Requesting Spaces to be Added to Zoom Workspace

In the future, a service will be available to request adding new locations into the Zoom Workspace. Announcements will be made here, and this section will be updated.
