Starting August 27, 2025, all Dartmouth Poll Everywhere users will log in with SSO (NetID and Duo). To opt out, change your account email to a non-Dartmouth address. What’s Changing?
Starting August 27, 2025, Poll Everywhere will use Dartmouth’s Single Sign-On (SSO) for all logins. Instead of remembering a separate password, log in with your Dartmouth NetID, password, and Duo.
How to Log In On August 27

Go to www.polleverywhere.com/login

Enter your NetID-based Dartmouth email (e.g., f000fyq@dartmouth.edu)

Click Next

Click "Log in with Dartmouth" on the following page and authenticate through WebAuth.

Enter your NetID, password, and Duo authentication
Once authenticated, you’ll be logged into your Poll Everywhere account, which is now securely tied to your Dartmouth credentials.

Who This Affects?
This change applies to:

All A&S, Graduate A&S Tuck, and Thayer faculty, staff, and students who use Poll Everywhere with a Dartmouth email address

Both on-license users (under Dartmouth’s enterprise license) and off-license users (who created personal/free accounts using a Dartmouth email).

The Geisel faculty and staff will continue logging in using their username and password.
If You Use Poll Everywhere for Personal or Non-Dartmouth Work
You have two options:

Opt out as soon as possible by changing the email address on your profile to a non-Dartmouth email BEFORE August 24 (e.g., Gmail or another personal address). This change will prevent your account from being moved under Dartmouth’s enterprise license. Here’s how to update your personal information on Poll Everywhere.
Special Instructions for Geisel Faculty who are on a non-Dartmouth license.
If you are affiliated with the Geisel School of Medicine and use Poll Everywhere under a Geisel-managed license, this SSO change does not likely apply to you.

You will continue to log in using your existing email and password

Select Use password instead on the login screen

Your account will not be migrated to Dartmouth’s enterprise license.

You will retain access to Geisel-specific templates and configurations.
