What is "Our Files"
“Our Files” is a Dartmouth hosted file server (\\of_advance), used for sharing files with your coworkers. This location is always backed up. You must to be connected to the Dartmouth network either physically (through a cable or wireless connection at the office), or by using the Dartmouth Virtual private network (VPN), when working remotely.
Access to Advancement shares is granted by Advancement Systems and Services (ASAS) based on your needs in your role here at Dartmouth. The ability to create, view, edit, or delete folders or files is determined by your role.
How to access "Our Files"
- Be sure you are connected to the Dartmouth network either physically (through a cable or wireless connection at the office) or by using the Dartmouth Virtual private network (VPN), when working remotely.
- Open the Windows File Explorer
- Enter your Our Files path in the address field, at the top, and press enter.
