This article steps through verifying that a purchased Microsoft Copilot has been applied to an account and is ready for use.
Step-by-Step
Microsoft's Copilot are available to members of the Dartmouth community on a subscription basis.

Contact The Computer Store at 7 South Street if you have any questions.
Once that order is processed, the license should automatically apply to your account, which could take up to 24 hours. To verify that license is activated, please follow these steps:
- Go to https://portal.office.com/
- Copilot will appear on the left side

Another method to check:
- Open a Microsoft o365 product, such as Microsoft Word
- Start a new document
- Verify that the Copilot button is available in the home ribbon

If you do not see the Copilot button, logout of the application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and login.
If the option is still missing and you have received the license, contact the Service Desk.
